Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about FunkyPollen
What is FunkyPollen?+
FunkyPollen cross-pollinates ideas from across the internet — Reddit, Hacker News, Product Hunt, GitHub, YouTube, and more — to surface non-obvious business opportunities. Each idea combines signals from at least two different sources, connecting dots that humans might miss.
How does the scoring system work?+
Each opportunity is graded from A to D based on a composite score. The score factors in market size potential, implementation difficulty, tech stack leverage, and an AI confidence rating. A-grade ideas (score 12+) have strong signals across all dimensions, while D-grade ideas may still be promising but need more validation.
What is the Strike Team?+
The Strike Team is a multi-agent AI debate system that validates ideas. Multiple AI agents with different perspectives (market analyst, technical architect, devil's advocate, etc.) argue for and against an idea, producing a comprehensive validation report with a final verdict.
What are collections?+
Collections let you curate and organize ideas into themed lists — like "Weekend Projects" or "Fintech Opportunities". You can create your own collections, add ideas to them, and share them publicly. Other users can upvote and fork your collections.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?+
The free plan lets you explore ideas, vote, build collections, and try Strike Team validation (3 runs/month). Pro ($15/mo) bumps you to 30 Strike Team runs, adds comparison mode, exports, daily email digests, and full API access.
How often are new ideas generated?+
The platform runs a daily automated scan at 06:00 UTC, pulling fresh content from all sources and synthesizing new cross-pollinated opportunities. You can also trigger manual scans depending on your tier.
